Vision

VISIONS:

TLAP envisions a future in which all equally achieve full justice, and human rights as per internationally agreed principles. TLAP believes empowering the community is an important ingredient to meet their challenges. TLAP strongly believes as a result of this work, many minority communities around the world will also benefit.

MISSIONS:

TLAP seeks for justice for Tamils living in and outside Sri Lanka for their basic rights and protect and promote human rights. Although TLAP will focus on Tamil Community, our work also benefits all interested groups by achieving higher human rights values.

GOALS:

TLAP will work with Tamils and International groups around the world who have similar believe and expertise to:

  • Raise awareness of the inequality, injustice and human rights situation of Tamils living in Sri Lanka
  • Promote and protect the human rights of Tamils working closely with other international human rights group
  • Explore and challenge legal avenues available locally within Sri Lanka and around the world to promote the defined mission
  • Promote internationally agreed human rights values in all aspects of our engagements
  • Promote capabilities of the community in every area in order to meet and excel in every area and contribute to a better world
